Electrical Wing

 

The Electrical Wing of Department of Telecommunication under the Ministry of Communications started functioning in May 1994 and is presently responsible for/ or focusing on:

·         Promotion of Energy Conservation, Energy Efficiency.

·         Adoption of Green Energy Measures for Telecom Infrastructure in DoT and its Public Sector Units under Ministry of Telecommunication & IT.

·    Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) for Indian Telecom Infrastructure.

·         E-Waste related issues Disposal on Environment & Health of Living beings

·         Inspection of Electro-mechanical Installations of DoT, DoP and PSUs under Ministry of Telecommunication & IT

·         All Staff & establishment matters pertaining to Group A & B officers of Civil/Electrical/Architecture wing of P&T BWS
