Most of
the 750 people working for ITU are based at the
headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Some teams also
work in the regional and area offices spread across the
world.
The staff
come from 85 different countries and comprise mainly
highly skilled engineers/specialists in the
Telecommunications, Radio-communications and ICT
engineering fields for the organization’s technical
programs.
In
addition to engineers, ITU staff include administrative,
finance, Human resources, legal and procurement
specialists who provide logistical and administrative
support to the technical programs. |
