Functions
of the Link Branch
11.1
On receipt of advices and scrolls along with the supporting documents
from the Paying Branches, the Link Branch will consolidate them along with
supporting documents.
11.2 The original copy of the scroll along with summary sheet will be sent by the Public Sector Bank Link Branch to the Reserve Bank of India or the State Bank of India or its subsidiaries conducting Government business, at the District Head Quarters, as the case may be by the 15th of each month. The duplicate copy of the scrolls and the payment advices received from the paying branches will be retained by the Link Branch.
